ABOUT US
Bramble Farm Cottages are family run holiday homes which have been up and running since 2014.
Our dream was to convert the old farm buildings into stylish and comfortable holiday rental cottages, each having their own individual style and original features and making the most of the rural setting in West Parley. We are close to Bournemouth Airport and the towns of Ferndown, Bournemouth and Poole. We offer accommodation for up to 24 people, perfect for weddings or large group bookings.

There are a selection of pubs within easy walking distance. Some are more geared for children than others
Situated at the top of Church Lane, this pub offers a varied menu which caters for children. Beer Garden at the front of the pub.

The Pear at Parley
A popular pub with lovely big seating and play area outside. The Pear at Parley offers great food and a nice atmosphere. Set within a large garden area.

A family run pub which provides fresh homemade food. Aimed more at adults but will cater for children. No outside seating or children’s areas.

Offers a varied menu and has a big seating area outside. Caters for children.

The quiet town of Ferndown offers a range of Indian, Italian and pub restaurants as well as a range of takeaway establishments.

Things to do nearby
When staying at Bramble Farm Cottages, not only are you surrounded by beautiful countryside but there are some lovely walks too. Down the end of the lane is a tranquil walk along the River Stour where you will see a variety of birds, swans and ducks. The quaint All Saints Church sits alongside the river and dates back to the Saxon times. Why not try picking your own seasonal fruits at the PYO farm and explore the designated footpaths into the countryside both up and down the lane.

If you fancy something a little more adventurous why not visit some of the tourist attractions nearby.

Aviation Museum
A chance to see planes and helicopters up close and sit in them. Situated within the grounds of Adventure Wonderland. Not enough to fill a day as it is only small. But at £3 entry, it’s a must see for any plane fans.

Snowtrax Alpine Activity Centre
Dried ski slope offering lots of different activities including: Ringos, Ski bobbing, Skiing and Snowboarding. Menu and Bar with a children’s play area. Alpine Adventure Park is set in the attractive woodland area at the bottom of the ski slope, the Alpine Adventure Park offers an area for parents to relax whilst the kids play.

Set in West Moors (Ferndown) is a large outdoor activity centre. With Play trails, large and small play parks, ride on steam train around the park, picnic areas and lake. Restaurant and snacks bar on site and the opportunity to hire bikes and explore the grounds.

Go Ape (within the grounds of Moors Valley)
Offering various packages to do high ropes, crossings, tunnels, bridges and zip wire through the trees.
​
A similar idea to Go Ape but on a smaller scale. Suitable for over 5s and includes low and high ropes, power fan descender and an 11 meter climbing wall. This is situated within the Littledown Park where they have a play park, paddling pool, lake and small ride on railway.

Undercover shopping centre with a variety of shops including: Asda, Sports direct, JD sports, WH Smith, River Island, Monsoon, Topshop, New Look, H and M, Gap, Next, Dorothy Perkins, Boots, Clarks and Sainsbury’s.

A short drive into the towns of Bournemouth and Poole offers more comprehensive range of shops, restaurants and beautiful blue flag beaches.
